General Definitions

Standalone applications

This summarizes the information we gather through our applications released on the Apple App Store, the iOS App Store, and Google Play.

From time to time we may receive crash logs from Apple or Google when you use our application which may include personal information. Applications downloaded from our web site do not send crash logs to us.

If you e-mail us, we will gather and make use of your personally identifying information as outlined below.

What information we do not gather.

We do not gather any personal information through our applications. We do not make use of third party analytics systems to track your usage of our applications.

This summarizes the information we gather on the Glenview Software web site, including e-mails that may be sent to us.

How we collect your personal information.

We (through WordPress) gather non-personally identifying information anytime you visit our web site.

If you choose to create an account on our web site (such as to leave a comment), we gather the information you provide WordPress, such as your e-mail address and name. This information is gathered by WordPress on our behalf, according to WordPress’s privacy policies.

If you choose to contact us via e-mail, through our contact page, or through other means, we will retain the information you provide us as outlined below.

What information we do not gather.

We do not make use of any third party analytics systems to track your usage of our web site (other than provided by WordPress) or our applications. This means we will not track your usage of our applications such as Kythera or RSS News, nor do we use a third party analytics system for the purpose of advertising or gathering behavioral information for advertising purposes.

We may use your non-identifying personal information to track usage of our web site, to optimize our products and keep our products secure. We may also use the crash log data to fix bugs and improve our products.
